I will be accurate and outspoken while giving an opinion to Grenouer, after respectable years of touring and career since 1992 from a distant and icy place like Russia people would think they are either giving the final step or finding certain decay but there's another reality, this is one of the freshest and renowned bands across Europe stating this, whether they continue playing in such great way I can assure these guys will conquer America or any other country any time soon.

Grenouer has everything: attitude, strength and authenticity, according to their biography in the early days the band played Death Metal even used Russian lyrics praised by underground extreme metal scene, however their 7th studio album owns certain progressive style throughout eleven's tracks of the record that you will never get tired while listening to "Blood on the Face".

Their new record has nothing to do with the early days of the band, "Blood on the Face" it's a modern rock/alternative metal album where clearly the band has evolved positively taking high risks, getting originality and own interpretive style, the band mixes different kind of sounds which bring you some kind of fear, most of the record is full of dark passages. I think Grenouer goes beyond their own capacities citing the lead single off the new record "Midday Show" as an example since the singer even brings you some of rap interpretation just in the middle of the song getting a positive result.

I don't know if all this great sound has brought freshness back to the rock music scene in Europe because of the weather in Russia, either its landscapes or frozen days, culture and lifestyle out there but all these elements have a fundamental part into the band's sound, these guys are so unique the new sound has a perfect balance between melody and aggression besides their videos have a great production leading you to the main message that the band is looking for.
